I started this website to show collectors that there is much value to collecting stamps.

While collecting for value is certainly a valid and valuable pursuit, there are other reasons and there is much more to offer to someone who chooses to collect stamps as a hobby.

I was also influenced to do something to keep the hobby alive by a passionate dealer in Canada who is focused on reviving the hobby. I felt as I needed to do something. Due to lack of funds I could not obtain a “great collection” or one that would be considered anything other than a “school boy” collection so decided to help others collect by setting up a store to “fill holes” in their collection but also allow others to sell what they have to continue the cycle.

I hope the site becomes one where collecting styles, advice, tips, suggestions are discussed in the forum. Any stamps/money donated to the site will be used to collect to pass on to other collectors or to keep the website afloat.

Eventually I hope to have others who wish to sell collections they have inherited, collected or duplicates they have setup their own stores and sell what they wish (including other collectibles). That is down the rode and will be based on what support and feeback I recieve.
