I started this site because:

There were many complaints about ebay (cost being one) and I thought I could build a site where trusted and vetted collectors could sell.

I wanted a stamp "mentor" and never found one. I wanted someone to help me make wise choices and explain details of collecting, I never found one but thought I could help others as I learned myself.

I saw too much emphasis on collecting for value. I wanted to share the stories behind stamps and increase that collector base.

I wanted to offer stamps to other collectors so they could fill holes in their albums and so they could do the same.
